Hustle culture has become a buzzword in recent years, often associated with success, productivity, and achievement. However, the reality is that hustle culture is harmful and unsustainable. It places unrealistic expectations on individuals and can lead to burnout, stress, and mental health issues.
The glorification of overworking is a major problem in our society. We are constantly bombarded with messages that tell us we need to work harder, longer, and faster to be successful. The truth is that success and productivity are not solely based on the number of hours we work. In fact, studies have shown that overworking can actually decrease productivity and lead to mistakes.
It’s time to cancel hustle culture and embrace a healthier approach to work and life. This means setting realistic goals, prioritizing self-care, and recognizing that rest is just as important as work. It’s important to take breaks, disconnect from work, and engage in activities that bring us joy and fulfillment.
If you’re unsure on how to find activities that bring you that joy, I hope to say that you’re in the right place on being here. I do focus a ton on fiber crafts, slow living, and home decor, but I hope you find some inspiration here. I love talking about people’s passions, whether they align with my own or not. I’m here to find my people and help you with your thing, I’m sending you the magic of being one step closer to getting there. 💖
Remember that you’re not alone. It’s okay to take a step back and reevaluate your priorities. Canceling hustle culture doesn’t mean giving up on your dreams or goals; it means finding a more sustainable and balanced way to achieve them. I struggle here too, at the moment I’m want to sew more, but am already planning on sewing pieces for my Etsy shop. This is so not necessary!! But it’s something we do. Work hard to protect your passions, not everything needs to be a side hustle.
Let’s prioritize our health and well-being over the pressure to constantly hustle. It’s time for a new approach to work and life that values rest, self-care, and balance.
Hustle culture is toxic and unsustainable. It’s time to cancel it and embrace a healthier approach to work and life. Remember to prioritize self-care, set realistic goals, and take breaks when needed. Let’s create a culture that values our health and well-being, not just our productivity.
