Hi there friend, and welcome to my little corner of the internet! If you are drawn to things like knitting, cross stitching, slow fashion, or intentional living then you’ve come to the right place. Here in this blog I share my journey to breaking away from the daily grind of work, and into a more creative and soul-filling space.
I believe what we need now more than ever is inspiration. I have chats with so many friends who are looking to pick up a new hobby, and while I always hope to have a new knitting or sewing buddy, I know that it’s not always that our interests will align. What I’d like you to get out of this blog, is to become inspired to find your own path. Whether we will walk the same path with the love of fiber arts, or if this sparks any other creative endeavor deep inside your heart. Cheesy – I know. But I think it’s so important to share the things we love in a way that feels good to us, and hope that this little blog of mine can be a stepping stone on the path to finding yours.
I have tons of ideas for posts to come in the future, but you’ll likely see me writing about my various crafting projects, my favorite crafting paraphernalia, dream crafting, intentional home decor/design, and probably some new parent stuff thrown in! (We’re expecting our first end of January 2023!!)
I’ve been knitting since 2003 according to my Ravelry, I was in about sixth grade when my great-grandmother taught me the basics and then I was cut loose to the internet to learn everything else I needed to expand my skills to make the things I wanted! I’ve been following my spirituality path too for a few years, and am learning to give myself grace to find my life’s purpose. I’m not sure if this is it, but I’ll be damned to not take this trail and see where it leads.
Thus here we are, with a blog with bigger plans than I care to admit. I hope you enjoy my crafty ramblings, and find this as an avenue to filling your creative cup as well!
